A jazz band (jazz outfit or jazz combo) is a musical troupe that plays jazz music. Jazz groups generally comprise of a mood segment and a horn area, in the good 'ol days frequently trumpet, trombone, and clarinet with cadence segment of piano, banjo, bass or tuba, and drums.
